That a ‘63 is supposed to have “ !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ” letters across the back as well as the front. I found odd little sockets under the 1/8” of bondo on my gate yesterday - mystery solved.

I dare you to have it actually spell out FJORD

We filled most of those holes on the ‘70. Only places that are getting emblems are the quarters where it says GT, and the grille. The big wrap around GT stripe says RANCHERO GT across the back.

Actually, apart from the drilling holes thing, would be hilarious. Maybe magnets? The olds hood ornament is a total maybe.

On mine, there’s this weird duality where Ford didn’t want to run it in with the Falcon line, but didn’t want to spend a single dime calling it out as its own model either, so instead of saying “F A L C O N” on the back, they were like, “uh... dress it up with something - here, another set of FORD letters!” It doesn’t say Falcon anywhere but the horn button on the whole car, and says Ranchero nowhere - only implied by the steer head on the gate, which itself is only there to cover the tailgate window winder hole. HURR.
I’m doing something *like* a GT stripe, but it’ll be broken before the gate. I *have* thought about doing a checkerboard chromey strip of some sort, though. And “vents” on the rear quarters. “I’M A GALAXIE LIKE MY DAD”

Ours will look just like this, but the stripe continues all the way round, and it has different wheels.
